Dosimetry Products
Personal dosimetry
More than 20 years of experience in providing dosimetry products and services for different fields of nuclear energy, handling of ionizing radiation sources and medicine.
Personal whole-body dosimetry
Monitoring is provided by film or thermoluminescent dosimeters. The dosimeters are sealed in plastic cassettes and are worn at the reference site – the left side of the chest. The dosimeters are changed either monthly or quarterly – depending on the monitoring programme set. The dosimeters are always sent by post on the agreed date. Film dosimeters allow us to determine, in addition to the dose: – the dominant direction from which the dosimeter was irradiated – the type and energy of radiation – the temporal nature of the exposure (short-term vs. long-term) Film dosimeters are archived and can be re-evaluated if necessary. Range of measurements: – Photon energy (gamma, X-ray): 12 keV – 15 MeV – Electron energy: 0.3 MeV – 15 MeV – Dose range: 0.02 mSv – 1.5 Sv |
Personal finger dosimetry
Monitoring is provided by thermoluminescent dosimeters enclosed in ring cases designed to be worn on the finger. Finger dosimetry is a complementary to services to whole-body dosimetry. The dosimeters are changed monthly according to a set monitoring programme. Dosimeters are always sent by post on the agreed date. Measurement range: – Photon energy (gamma, X-ray): 30 keV – 15 MeV – Dose range: 0.05 mSv – 5 Sv |
Personal neutron dosimetry
Monitoring is provided by trace detectors based on mylar foil. The dosimeters are changed monthly according to the set monitoring program. Neutron dosimetry is an additional to services to whole-body dosimetry. Dosimeters are always sent by post on the agreed date. Neutron dosimeters allow us to determine the type of radiation and the likely source in addition to the dose. Neutron dosimeters are archived and can be re-evaluated if necessary. Measurement range: – Neutron energy: 0.5 eV – 14 MeV – Dose range: 0.2 mSv – 2 Sv |
Eye lens dosimetry
Monitoring is provided by film dosimeters. The dosimeters are enclosed in plastic cassettes and are worn on a headband in the middle of the forehead. The dosimeters are changed either monthly or quarterly, depending on the monitoring programme set. Ocular lens dosimetry is a complementary to services to whole-body dosimetry. Dosimeters are always sent by post on the agreed date.
