CBRN Basic Training

Instructors Use NUVIATech Simulation Devices

The current international security situation is once again highlighting the importance of equipping and training our disaster response units. In the district of Coesfeld, Germany (NRW), a four-week CBRN basic training course is currently being conducted, providing future emergency responders with essential knowledge.

A key component of the training is the safe handling of α and β-/γ contamination detection devices. For this purpose, instructors use the SIM version of the CoMo-170. These specially modified devices respond to magnetic fields, enabling realistic training scenarios without the need for radioactive sources.
