Successful FAT Tests Completed for Two New Screening Monitors

The devices will be installed and tested on-site, with customer training to follow.

Last week we successfully passed FAT tests of two new screening monitors for a Belgian power plant in the presence of the customer.
These devices are used to verify that workers are not exposed to radioactive contamination. During the monitoring, activity in the chest and abdomen area is monitored, and if the measured values exceed the permitted level, more detailed spectroscopic measurements come into play.
After successful completion of the tests, the monitors will travel to the customer for further testing, followed by installation and customer training.
